“The Crackhead Jesus Trials”
July 31, 2007
MIAMI, July 31 — The recent ruling which found Scooter
Libby guilty of perjury, followed by Bush’s commute of Libby’s sentence,
has thrown the sanctity of the legal system into an ethical maelstrom, says
dark horse presidential candidate and multimedia artist Victor-Hugo Vaca
Jr. The democrats call for a perjury investigation into Alberto Gonzales
coincides with Vaca’s request for the Florida Bar, under the direction of
Henry Coxe III, to define the allowable limits of perjury for U.S.
citizens.
The Hispanic artist alleges that the law firm of Conde & Cohen, P.L.
has perjured itself several times before both the court and the Florida
Bar. The allegations involve the cases dubbed, “The Crackhead Jesus
Trials,” which are being documented in his graphic novel “Capicua 3-1-3:
The Long Arm of the Law.” (Case No. 50-2006-CC-016579-XXXXSB, Case No.
06-009166, Case No. 05-18059 CC 23, Case No. 06-04367 CA 01, Florida Bar
File No. 2007-50,379 (15E), Florida Bar File No.2007-50,519 (15E)).
The artist’s planned seven-book-series will examine the strengths and
weaknesses of the modern judiciary branch of government. Not since the O.J.
Simpson trials, has a minority celebrity so brazenly tested the validity
and fortitude of the legal system in the United States. He plans on using a
unique interactive format of modern art, text, audio, and video to educate
and entertain his audience.
Victor-Hugo is defending himself “pro se” against the law firm of Conde
& Cohen, P.L. The case has become a legal chess match pitting the U.S.
Naval Academy, Florida International University, and Florida Atlantic
University educated artist against a law firm whose members have degrees
from Tulane, Loyola, and St. John’s University. The artist, who does not
have a law degree, is the clear underdog in this match-up. He sees this
challenge as an art project which he calls, “The Rocky Balboa of Modern Art
vs. Conde & Cohen.”
“The project’s aim is to empower people and prove that it is better to
be self-represented than represented by expensive, unethical and
incompetent legal counsel,” he says.
The artist has also filed a Bar complaint asking whether it is a
conflict of interest for a law firm to sue a client while representing the
client in another case.
